It really adores having you press the function keys (F5, F6, etc) for everything.2) It crashes periodically for me.Bad first impression. Restarting didn't fix the issue...ok fine, I'll verify the files. 2 files redownloaded. And then apparently the issue was my saved game, because it wiped it. So I thought I'd test it again. Started brand new game with no issues. Exited game. Verified - 2 files redownloaded. Started Gyromancer again...yep, save game wiped again. This is a MAJOR issue and I realize it's a rather old game but the thought of replaying the last 8 hours made me never want to touch this again. Do not buy.. Fun little Bejeweld style puzzler, but with the twist that you're clearing gems to power your monster (or prevent the enemy monster from being powered up) and to use skills.. Well meh, I don't know but something is missing, no voicovers, "cinematics" are boring game barely started and I already don't care, after some time playing game froze, well I can click and I am hearing something is happening but nothing showing on the screen and there is not so much satisfaction playing this game.. Makes my videocard/fans in my computer make a godawful screeching noise, and the game doesn't allow for any tweaking of video settings to attempt to resolve.. It's like those puzzle quest rpg games. This one is pretty neat though. i originally played it back on PS3. I feel it plays a lot better on key board and mouse though.. It's ♥♥♥♥ing Bejeweled Twist with an RPG skin on it, If it was normal GOOD Bejeweled I'd recommend but since it's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Twist version I say let this one go.. By opting for an asymmetric style of puzzle play (as opposed to Puzzle Quest et al's symmetric style of you move, AI moves), Gyromancer more consistently rewards mastery, making for a much more satisfying play experience. If you enjoyed PQ but felt frustrated by its high variance, Gyromancer is for you..
